The role of the blank opening is to clamp and seal the parison during the blow molding process.
The most important thing to pay attention to when designing the cutting mouth is the margin of the cutting blank left by the two-piece mold.
If the design cut blank has a small margin, it will cut the blank, causing air leakage when blowing the product, which makes the product fail to meet the design requirements.
If the design of the blank cut mouth is large, it will make it difficult for the handle to fall off, which will cause difficulties in later work.
When designing the cutting edge distance, only by taking the thickness of the blank and the characteristics of the raw materials into consideration, a proper distance can be obtained. Generally, the cutting edge width of the cutting edge is 1 to 2 mm, and the angle of the cutting edge is 15 to 30 degrees. Residual grooves are usually set on the left and right sides of the blank cutting slot, or penetrate through the left and right sides of the blank opening. Its size is determined by the width and thickness of the parison after being clamped, and the mold can be closed tightly.
